BSc (HONS) Podiatry, MRCPOD, director and podiatrist at Elland Foot Clinic.
Nick has dedicated most of his life to the noble art of foot care – because someone has to! While most people try to avoid feet at all costs, Nick runs towards them (in sensible arch-supporting footwear of course!).
With a keen interest in science, particularly biology, he specialised in podiatry at the University of Salford and gained a BSc honours degree in 2014.

Elland Foot Clinic is a newly founded podiatry service established in 2025. We use our experience to help people get rid of their foot problems. We opened our first foot care clinic in Elland, Wellbeing Centre, to serve local residents and the surrounding areas.
At Elland Foot Clinic, we aim to provide evidence-based treatments for verrucas, ingrowing nails, identify abnormalities or dysfunctions, maintain diabetic foot health, and offer routine podiatry services to keep your feet comfortable and pain-free.

What to Expect During Your First Appointment at Elland Foot Clinic?
Comprehensive medical history
- Your current foot issue (pain, swelling, skin/nail problems, injuries)
- How long it’s been happening and what makes it better or worse
- Your general health (e.g. diabetes, circulatory issues)
- Medications and activity level
- Occupation
Comprehensive foot examination
- Skin and nails (for things like fungal infections, corns, calluses)
- Foot shape and structure
- Circulation and nerve sensation testing
- Footwear assessment
Diagnosis and explanation
Treatment (on the day):
Long-term treatment plan:
- You will be provided with a personalised self-care plan
- You will have a discussion around how many follow-up appointments are needed
- Appropriate referrals or further tests that may be required
What you need to bring / do:
- A medical questionnaire will be sent to you by email prior to your appointment. Please fill this in.
- Provide us with any relevant medical or ongoing tests
- Please bring any trainers/shoes you usually wear, especially if you require orthotics or insoles
